Kellogg’s research involves systematics, plant development, and comparative genomics of grasses. Specifically, she studies such cereal grasses as switchgrass, wheat, corn (maize), rice, sorghum, barley, and sugar cane.
The UMRB grant has allowed me to hire a very talented postdoctoral scholar to run the project in the lab.
