The UMRB Difference
UMRB funds gave Londré time to research and write The Enchanted Years of the Stage and Words at Play, while still teaching the majority of her classes. “I couldn’t miss a year of teaching,” she says. “[The grant] gave me the released time to work on both books.”
The UMRB grant gave me the time to go to the downtown library and sit there all day, reading newspapers, immersed in the past.
